Re: Any Subscribers to Scott's Gangster Report?
I subscribe and like it quite a lot. (His exclusive report on Paulie Carparelli wanting to take on some sort of leadership position in Cicero, which so far hasn't been reported by anyone else, certainly made my day when I read it.) He relies heavily on his sources though and doesn't screen their info super-strictly the way a Capeci might, so it's like a tabloid, sensationalist version of Gangland News kind of -- you have to be always keep this in mind when reading it. Imagine Gangland News crossed with those tabloid TV journalism show like A Current Affair and you get the general idea. It is what it is and is definitely NOT for the "every piece of info must be verified by the feds" crowd. The site is still new so the jury's still out on whether the crazier things his sources have told him will turn out to be legit. I'd wait like a year to see if it turns out he's actually struck gold with his sources or is just publishing tall tales from them.
There's a ton of coverage of non-LCN organized crime too (bikers, blacks gangstas, etc.) if you're into that sort of thing.
I'll try to keep everyone up to speed on how the info on the site is turning out in terms of accuracy.

Good, fair summary, Ivan. I will say that I hated the redesign -- it's waaay too busy. How many different front-page links do we need to the same stories? This was probably someone else's idea rather than Scott's, though.Ivan wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 12:01 pm I subscribe and like it quite a lot. Hit teams are stalking Cammarano as we speak
Re: Any Subscribers to Scott's Gangster Report?
I subscribe but Ive worked with Scott in the past and have known him personally for seventeen years. I think it's worth it because it does cover a lot. And I use the search option a lot to look up older articles.
Re: Any Subscribers to Scott's Gangster Report?
its quite good and he actually has sources on both sides of law.
Q: What doesn't work when it's fixed?
A: A jury!
