Hootie is hard to follow sometimes but if I understood correctly, he said his beef with Dom was that there was just no need to hit that kid with the hammer and that he was just a harmless guy. Hootie said his crew started calling Cicale “Dom Borghese” because they all thought he was acting like a cowboy on the street but would flip as soon as he got jammed up, which they were right about that.

Gotta say - we're going on a month and some change since Cicale first touched down on the YouTube circuit right? It's been a big snoozefest. I've found chin's threads on this very board, breaking down Cicale's files and court testimonies, to be much more informative and entertaining than bumbling Dom's stuff. I think there was one video about growing up in the Bronx and getting into a teenaged beef with Hippy Zanfardino that was kind of cool. Maybe another one with some Vinny stuff.

But from there, it's turned into the whole "I'm tougher, I'm more honorable - here's some examples" thing - combined now with good old fashioned grifting and shilling. You know it't not going well and we're not going to get good stories from these ex-connected guys on youtube when one of two things happen. 1 - they start selling or promoting off brand, low rent products... or 2 - they start telling stories involving Gotti or putting Gotti's name in the title of the vids (Mikey Scars is obviously exempt from this for a variety of reasons; he's a cut above, pure class, and actually has extensive personal Gotti dealings).

I think Cicale hit both benchmarks within 5 weeks. All at the pace of about 20 words per minute, talking, with egregious malaprops and mis-pronunciations.

Basciano had an insane amount of shit going on when he was active. If Cicale was his right hand - which I don't think is disputable or up for debate - you'd think he'd have a shitload of stories and anecdotes of things we've never even imagined before. Instead we get Vodka promo, cringe raps, and shit we've already heard before , or dubious prison fight stories.

His channel stinks. Also, why does everyone who's talked about the Meldish brothers on Youtube say their name as "Mel-NISH?" Dom did this and I chalked it up to his illiteracy, but I feel like I've heard Pennisi and some others pronounce it the same way. Is that how Meldish is said? Melnish?
