Apparently they just don’t give a fuck anymore. They’ll do anything short of ratting to get less time.
That’s the guy, Adriana. My Uncle Tony. The guy I’m going to hell for.

lol. Talk about a hail mary. Childhood trauma directly linked to running fake OSHA courses. Interesting this trauma defense wasn't brought up the other half dozen times he's been in front of a judge.
It's definitely unbecoming, but I don't blame these guys for throwing anything they can at the wall to see if it sticks. They scheme and lie and cheat for a living - lying to a judge to minimize punishment would be an afterthought. Staying free and maintaining respect in "that life" is more important than looking honorable to the general public for these guys.
Look at what Gioeli did - the guy was a boss and as serious as it gets, and he did a whole victim campaign tour and played the discrimination card to anyone who'd listen. He was like one of those college student Twitter posters everyone likes to complain about now, years before doing that whole thing was popular, and years before the term "woke" was around and beaten into the ground.
What's funny is that you hear stories of guys getting shelved and associates getting cut off for carrying themselves in questionable ways. I guess when it's done in regular society (like in court) it doesn't apply - anything goes.

Did we know about this Bonanno captains' meeting? Has it ever been brought up before, 'cause this is the first time I can remember reading about it.According to court records, he attended a Christmas time Captains Meeting at the Basilio Inn in Staten Island with acting boss Cammarano and more than a dozen other family members in 2014, including Ronald (Ronny G) Giallanzo and John (Johnny Skyway) Palazzolo.

Yes, there was also one at a barber shop in Staten Island, as well as the one in a Queens garage where Cammarano polled the captains. These were all around that 14-15 timeframe. I'm sure someone can find the link where these were all discussed.Bing Bang 74 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 7:30 amDid we know about this Bonanno captains' meeting?
