Yes I listened to it in the video section. I would prefer the shorts section though.Wiseguy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 4:16 pmIs this the atrocity you guys are talking about?

I don't know. When it comes to threatening a guy's kids, all bets are off. Basciano seemed the type that, once that got out, Santoro might as well have swallowed a bottle of pills and slit his wrists.newera_212 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:50 pmAlso, how unnecessary was the Frank Santoro hit? LOL . Both of the hits that really took Vinny down were really unnecessary . I guess Santoro must have been someone to worry about , or else they would have threw him a beating. Either that or Vinny really did not play around - judging from how many times we've heard about Vinny going to Massino for permission to kill someone, seemed like Vinny did not like to take any chances with people to say the least
FWIW, they tried to chase Randy Pizzolo and he couldn't take the hint so he got clipped...newera_212 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:50 pm I saw it coming a mile away and it didn't take long for the anti-rat crew to start targeting Dom...lmao. I'm not talking about anyone on here...I'm talking about YouTube. I guess they needed to glom onto someone new, there's only so many times you can make videos about Calandra being a drooling moron.
Anyway, I hope we get some good stories out of Dom before he gets chased off . I'll suffer through the notes/script reading and his 20 words per minute (talking) for some good Vinny, Bronx Genovese, Bronx Lucchese type of stuff. Sick of hearing about Mancuso though. The guy's an old aggressive bastard. so what. Let's get some stuff going about Gorgeous and hanging at Raos with Genovese guys, etc... fuck Mancuso

Always wondered how legit that threat was and how it was passed down, etcWiseguy wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 2:14 pmI don't know. When it comes to threatening a guy's kids, all bets are off. https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/USC ... 929-25.pdfThe Government adduced evidence at trial that in 2001, Santoro, a Genovese crime
family associate, threatened to kidnap Basciano’s son. (Tr. at 5488.) Basciano learned of this
threat through two Genovese crime family associates, Joseph Filippone (“Filippone”) and
Dominick Martino (“D. Martino”). (Tr. at 5490-92, 5666-72). The Government admitted into
evidence numerous intercepted telephone conversations between individuals related to both the
Bonanno and the Genovese crime families in the two days preceding and the week following the
Santoro murder. Two days before the murder, Michael Mancuso (“Mancuso”), a Bonanno crime
family soldier, requested an urgent meeting with James Martino (“J. Martino”), D. Martino’s
brother and a Genovese crime family soldier. (Government Exhibit (“Gov. Exh.”) GX 241(a) at
3.) The next day, J. Martino ordered a third party to locate D. Martino concerning something
“very, very important.” (Gov. Exh. GX 241(b) at 3.) On the day of the murder, Mancuso told J.
Martino that he would relay the message that J. Martino was doing his best to locate his brother.
(Gov. Exh. GX 241(c) at 2.) Within the hour, J. Martino was observed meeting with Dominick
Cirillo (“Cirillo”), who was the boss of the Genovese crime family at the time. (Tr. at 6450-53,
6459-60.) In the week following the murder, J. Martino then told D. Martino, “This is over and
done with, and don’t talk to nobody about anything!” (Gov. Exh. GX 241(g) at 2.)
That's a great find, I'd never seen Mancuso or Cirillo connected to the Santoro murder before. That would also explain how Mancuso knew about Cicale's involvement in it. After Basciano got arrested for the hit in Nov 2004, Mancuso told Cicale that Cicale was lucky he didn't also get arrested.falco wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:45 pmhttps://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/USC ... 929-25.pdfThe Government adduced evidence at trial that in 2001, Santoro, a Genovese crime
