His show isn't really for me but I do think many here would find it interesting if you don't already know about it. I'm subbed to DiLeonardo and that is it, I don't care to involve myself with "Mobtube" (the mob genre channels on YT) which Gravano boasted he's the King or Capo or whatever of.

I do think more of us need to start venturing into YouTube. I'm new to it myself with the podcast and I'll be starting another podcast soon. But if people are interested in starting something, I'm here to advise or help if I'm able. I would only ask that everyone advertise/promote/market the Black Hand Forum as this is our own Cosa Nostra (discussion) Brugad in many ways.

There are some decent podcasts out there. I'm not really interested in the guys who just read off Wikipedia, but I enjoy listening to interviews with former wiseguys and associates. I think it's cool that I can now listen to interviews with people I used to read about when I first started studying Mafia history.

I would avoid this guy too Angelo. He’s another one wrapped up in the drama with all those other clowns who I won’t even bother to mention.

I'm going to second the others. If he wasn't in some way involved, or a reputable crime reporter I wouldn't pay a minute of attention to him. Plus, from what I recall, some of these guys are involved in a lot of childish youtube drama. Not for me.

That Lee cole show is awful. Guy has no clue what he is talking about, and is constantly in drama. Mikey Scars is prob the best on youtube.The Members Only Podcast on Youtube is good too and I don't see many people talk about it on here. Double Deal, Crimetown, and Up against the mob are some of the better podcasts out there.

I also like Anthony Ruggiano Jr's shows most of the time. Jerry Tillinghast had some great interviews on a channel called David Betterncourt. Mobfax has good old footage and Mob Fireside chat is decent too

Which is why I encourage more on here should consider launching something online. This forum is dominated by experts from different backgrounds who could cultivate a more scholarly or mature discussion on the subject which could serve a non-drama oriented audience.

One of the benefits that we- TMA- have experienced is being contacted by relatives/descendants of the people we discuss, some have offered up family photos and new information, however miniscule. There's also others who are devoted to the subject who have only read books who found our show riveting and wanted more, we invite them to this forum. There's an audience out there for this subject, one that's not being fulfilled by the drama-laden "mobtube."

Our approach and we've been criticized for it- is staying out of modern events. We have no interest to discuss the funeral or breaking the news. We're a niche of a niche and whoever tries to focus on more modern things, be it the 1970's onward, will find that there's a hungry audience out there for that type of content.

Very interesting channel. He gets the old gang bosses to open up. Really next level stuff that is not covered anywhere else.
