I was wondering if a Pietro DiGiacinto was connected to the Chicago LCN in the early years. He was born 1889 in Casteldaccia, Sicily (think Santo Virruso contemporary) and immigrated possibly to Chicago first. He married Maria Aiello... was she related to the infamous Chicago Aiello family? In 1922 he ran off with 15 year old Lena Meli, from Rockford, abandoning her in Kansas City. DiGiacinto was living in Chicago in 1940 as evidenced by the census but I can't find info about him after that.
