Re: Kansas City member Willie Cammisano Jr passed away
"Gerlarmo" Cammisano was named after LA underboss Girolamo Adamo, who killed himself at Willie Cammisano's house in San Diego. Very close relationship.

Little Willie was the last of the old school gangsters. He was a very dangerous man. With his death it's my opinion that the family is officially dead, even though there are still people involved in things he was the Tue to the old days and was the remaining fear factor. I knew him but was not close to him, he was a very guarded and gangster wise man.

He was street boss after Cork, Tony Civella and tuffy went to prison, Willie sr was finishing up a stint in the can, jr ran things till his dad got out, sr ran things till Tony Civella got out.stubbs wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 6:41 pm Scott B reporting for Gangster Report here. (article is paywalled)
Cammisano was reportedly a KC family member; I'm not sure if he was ever in a leadership position (does anyone know?).
Also, he was in the Nevada black book, banned for life from their casinos.

His family said he contracted covid a few years ago, and had suffered a few strokes.

I always enjoy your input on the forum, though I'm not usually in the position to reply or comment as I know little about KC. Thanks for the insight here.bobbybats wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 4:18 pm Little Willie was the last of the old school gangsters. He was a very dangerous man. Are you aware of any current links that KC guys may have with guys from Chicago, NYC, or any other city with an active Family? Given the past ties, I'd wonder whether the guys left in KC, even if they might no longer constitute a formal, viable Family, could still have some connections to Chicago at least. Since you're plugged into the community there, maybe you'd be in the position to have heard something.

All I know is that Michael badalucco visits New York City from time to time, don’t know if it’s anything more than visiting to sight see though

They still have friends and family in Chicago. Not aware of what action may be going on. Willies death will impact that thoughPolackTony wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:50 pmI always enjoy your input on the forum, though I'm not usually in the position to reply or comment as I know little about KC. He had dead's eyes like his dad. He was a little more calculating than big Willie, but every bit as deadly.JCB1977 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 7:07 amThanks for the clarification Bobby...Interesting character to say the least.bobbybats wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 4:18 pm Little Willie was the last of the old school gangsters. As Chin just reminded us on another thread, Scott B has claimed that KC guys have current connections to Chicago and Philly guys. Not sure if you’ve read this before, but wild be curious to know your take on it.bobbybats wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 11:12 pmThey still have friends and family in Chicago. Vincent Pisciotta being in Fort Dix would certainly provide the opportunity for at least a social relationship between KC and other families. A couple of years ago, Fort Dix contained the highest concentration of made guys in the entire federal prison system. While there weren't any Philly guys there at that time, somebody who was held there was Patsy Parrello, who knows and had met Borgesi, Merlino, and other Philly members.

Great info Bobby, always good to see you posting here!
I know that KC also used to have close ties with New Orleans. Obviously the New Orleans family seems to be long gone, but is anyone in KC still close to any relatives of the old New Orleans family that you know of?

Phil Rizzuto was a NO-based Kansas City member according to a 1980s FBI report. I thought he died in recent years but can't remember.stubbs wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 1:39 pm Great info Bobby, always good to see you posting here!

Gotta love how every picture of this guy he looks like he wants to rip your throat out.
I note from the obit that one of his brothers goes by Vincent Cummings. I’m guessing he changed the surname due to notoriety?
