i think this hurts most people. I have talked to a few guys in cali and they say it's about 1 mil min to get up and legal, corporations will again take over at some point. Hurts the local dealer becuase the stores are like a candy store, it's legal etc
I have heard that cigarette companies are getting involved and who knows maybe Coke and Pepsi,
I have looked up the ceo's etc of some of the west coast companies and some are run by ivy league exe. that have run big corps before.
small time dealers will only succeed in schools etc, wait until you see what it does to the kids in schools, it's going to be a mess
and anyone caught dealing not much will happen to them

I think it sucks people have done 10 years for weed and gambling now its legal
No way to give people their time back, they should have just asked for what the tax would have been and never locked them up
now they are making the tax so it's legal

more drugs will be legal soon (they are already free and legal as long as the program is legal) and the country is dying

The legal dispensaries are making nothing compared to the LA guys who ship to NY. I know guys that are 28-30 that are legit millionaires, just on carts, not even flower. It’s a hell of a business, I would have thought the dispensaries would be a long term issue ,but taxes , shitty choices, makes the everyday working man go to the street dealers even more. Truly amazing. Of course New York City/ mayor Adam’s would fuck it all up, and let middle eastern bodega owners cannibalize their whole business lol.

I don’t doubt it. There was a huge piece in the Washington Post today about how a lot of legal dispensaries and growers on the west coast are barely making any money. Market is oversaturated and demand for weed has dipped slightly post Covid. But mainly they can’t compete with black market prices. They said the illegal market in places like Cali and Oregon is “thriving”.

You know where the mob could make TONS? The packaging. The packaging standards are crazy, the bags, jars, all that. One could make a fortune just doing that.

If you’re buying from a dispensary you’re either loaded, old, have no connections or just plain stupid. The price mark up in these dispensaries is crazy compared to the prices you can get from your local weed dealer. It really makes zero sense spending more to go to a dispensary IMO. Unless your one of those people that are “afraid of getting fetanyl in your weed” lol
