Yep, Bettozzi. Her husband that died and left her the oil business was tight with Berlusconi, and she actually met her husband at one of his Bunga Bunga parties.

She started out working with the Camorra but the operation essentially got too big for them and they passed her off to the Ndrangheta. But while she was still working with the Camorra, she was picked up on a wire tap telling her sister that she and the Camorra were pulling in over $20M per day (!!!) from the operation. Which seems outrageous…but then you learn the Ndrangheta was in talks with this Russian oil group to spend millions and millions of dollars to build their own private port/dock separate from Gioia Taura so they wouldn’t have to pay the other Ndrangheta clans for using Gioia Taura, it doesn’t seem so outrageous.
