Good Stuff
The Pecora, Zottola and I believe Michael's family all grew up on Larimer Ave.
A teenage Henry took his first fall running numbers for JoJo.

Great info. Did Larimer Ave have a particular concentration of Italian paesani (Calabresi, Siciliani) or was it a neighborhood where they all lived together?

I'm pretty sure there are no more Little Italy neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. More like Micro Italy. Bloomfield is a shadow of its self. East Liberty is long gone.

I believe Larimer Ave was predominately Calabresi and definitely not Sicilian. Charlie would remind Michael and Jo Jo that he was the only SicilianPolackTony wrote: ↑Wed Oct 26, 2022 6:53 pm Great info. Bloomfield Ave Little Italy still exists..not to the extent of how it once was…Similar to Arthur Ave in The Bronx or Little Italy in Manhattan…it’s definitely shrunk

Ya Liberty Ave has more Asian restaurants than Italian nowadays and Little Italy Days in August was more like a carnival than an Italian festival
