Informing on people who passed away
This is the perfect place to ask imo. Has anyone ever heard of a MADE guy informing, making a plea deal, having any discussions with LE to get a reduced sentence and blaming/lying/framing/fabricating evidence on/it on a guy(s) who have passed away in the life? If so is there repercussions? Is it tolerated now?

Larry Boy Barese gave the feds info on the location of Willie Overall's body and blamed it on the late Jackie Aprile
Re: Informing on people who passed away
Lol thats a good example but maybe art imitates life. We know of any real life examples? We know David chase took alot of ideas from real life incidents. He even got sued by a judge who gave him examples from real court cases. So I'm sure my question has a real answerBrowniety86 wrote: βTue Oct 25, 2022 9:19 am Larry Boy Barese gave the feds info on the location of Willie Overall's body and blamed it on the late Jackie Aprile

It would probably get you shelved. Agreeing to talk to law enforcement about anyone other than yourself is considered ratting.Tonyd621 wrote: βTue Oct 25, 2022 11:37 amI agree, but is the tactic ok or will that type of behavior get you shelved or persona non grataBrowniety86 wrote: βTue Oct 25, 2022 10:13 amI bet its happened alot during proffer sessionsTonyd621 wrote: βTue Oct 25, 2022 10:03 amLol thats a good example but maybe art imitates life. In that life, any form of name dropping is ratting...see Al Bruno
Re: Informing on people who passed away
I agree ratting is ratting, but I could imagine a guy telling another guy if you get subpoenaed or called up and get asked this tell them so and so did it

Re: Informing on people who passed away
it won't get you a sentence reduction- these prosecutors just want to get a high p-win so they can go into private practice and actually make some money. Even Bruce Cutler was a prosecutor. I read about a lawyer that was a prosecutor then worked for Meta only to return to govt after a year. Sounds very stupid to me, but catching some gamblers must be his moral calling. oh usury too- hahhahha. They should marshall all their resources to take down ms13, big black gangs, Dominican dealers and obviously the cartel.
Q: What doesn't work when it's fixed?

According to this article https://gangsterreport.com/cadillac-fra ... nd-flemmi/ former mob boss Frank Salemme tried to blame his predecessor Nicholas Bianco after he had passed away for the murder of Steve Disarro however it didn't work as he was locked up for the murder due to testimony from Flemmi and Deluca.
