John Gotti Jr.
I've read a bunch of material on him, but curious about his personal finances. What was his legit job, and was it even close enough to maintain a home in Old Westbury? Wonder why the Feds never tried to seize it, especially if he carried over assets from his father's rackets. The government is quick is seize stuff so it's a wonder how guys maintain their nice homes.

Re: John Gotti Jr.
My cousin's dad has a house in Old Westbury, spent loads of time there as a kid and teenager and still do to this day. Its certainly upscale but I can believe Gotti Jr. earning enough to live there. They have like this urban conclave like community, even got it's own gang members, because the kids used to venture over the bridge and into parts of Prospect and dealt with those people mutually. But theyd definitely be considered upper class, its the weirdest thing ever.

no idea what his job is but the feds can only sieze things obtained with criminal proceeds which if you have some legitimate income can be hard to provekingfromqueens wrote:I've read a bunch of material on him, but curious about his personal finances. I a pretty sure that is gone because it really belonged to the Gambino Family. I think all he was left with was his rental properties(commercial and apartments etc) I don't think he has as much money as people think he has. I think he just gets by with the Real Estate rent. It the reason JR is desperately trying to get a movie made and the book etc. I heard when he was on trial his brother Peter was trying to collect on some money JR had on the street before going away and Peter was told to fuck off as it was taken from JR. So more then liklely the Trucking Co. is long gone and the property of the Gambino Family.Wiseguy wrote:He also had a trucking company at one time.

The trucking company went belly up only a few years after it was started. Hasn't been around in 25 years. He was partners with I think angel gottis husband who supposedly fucked everything upRocco wrote:I a pretty sure that is gone because it really belonged to the Gambino Family. Most guys like Junior and his father typically put assets into the names of wives and/or children. Plus, most wiseguys who have some business acumen wash their money through legitimate enterprises such as real estate, hotels, overseas investments or cash businesses.kingfromqueens wrote:I've read a bunch of material on him, but curious about his personal finances. Re: John Gotti Jr.
Gotti Jr. has been saying the same thing for so long now I don't believe anyone needs an actual interview to write an article. A while back I talked to a retired FBI agent (just by chance), the amount of disdain for the Gotti's was amazing. This FBI agent spent his career on the KC (Civella) mob squad and the Gambino FBI squad. For how much he hated the Gotti's that's how much he praised the Civella's, said they were class acts and good to deal with despite being gangsters, except for one of their underlings that had some cocaine problem and would try to run over the agents, even popping a few curbs to get at them, said it was more of a game then anything else though. He said a lot but I can't remember, it's going back a few years.Wiseguy wrote:Looks like ol' David got an interview with Junior
