John Bologna 302 notes

Re: John Bologna 302 notes
Yeah Bruno shouldn't have engaged a conversation and he paid the price. It's weird they admitted in one of the trials he wasn't a informant. Probably the judge made them for whatever reason. I remember reading the conversation. The agent like why did fusco get his button and Bruno basically told him he was locked up when it happened and he would have nixed it. Ya he sealed his fate
Re: John Bologna 302 notes
The Bruno-FBI agent conversation re. Fusco's making occurred in a popular pizza joint in Springfield. They were both picking up pies to go and Bruno struck up the convo on his way out.

Even without Bruno oversharing, guys have gotten in trouble just for being too friendly with LE. Freddy Iezzi in Philly was harshly reprimanded for being seen shaking hands with an FBI agent and talking to him for longer than necessary. The Bonanno guy Gabe Infante's murder was also influenced by similar interactions with agents.

Wouldn’t surprise me if a few of the corozzo kids are made, weren’t 4 of the brothers members?

I thought Gabe Infante got hit for fucking up 2 or 3 hits, including not properly disposing of Cesar Bonveture's remains?B. wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 7:27 pm Even without Bruno oversharing, guys have gotten in trouble just for being too friendly with LE. Re: John Bologna 302 notes
Like many murdered members he was killed for multiple infractions. From the Massino testimony thread:
- Captain Gabe Infante was killed for a combination of reasons: being too friendly with FBI agents after being warned to stop, the LE discovering Cesare Bonventre's body, and failing to kill Rastelli's brother-in-law Anthony Gilberti whose murder had been contracted earlier and survived being shot many times. Rastelli was "fed up" with Infante.

Why in the hell wouldn't Artie Nigro, at very minimum, chase John Bologna after having two different crime families tell him JB was an informant? Unfathomable

The only logical conclusion is greed. It's why Chin ignored Pete Savino. Such a blind spot.Browniety86 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 11:17 am Why in the hell wouldn't Artie Nigro, at very minimum, chase John Bologna after having two different crime families tell him JB was an informant? Unfathomable

Re: John Bologna 302 notes
That's the only answer I came up with...JB had to have been bringing Nigro some serious cash to ignore such allegations...Joeyboy1982 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 9:06 pmThe only logical conclusion is greed. Re: John Bologna 302 notes
Gaetano Balzo, Jr. right?
9 July 2001:
- Jason Halpern of Halpern Construction has been with Gambino member Edward Garafola for about three years after working on a construction site in Staten Island
- Halpern is known to jump between different crews and families
- Guy Balso and Joseph Dente Jr brought Halpern to Parrello
- Parrello controls most of the construction in Westchester County
- Balso is the go between for Parrello with most contractors

Re: John Bologna 302 notes
This is an older thread but I've edited my original post. The court document I found Bologna's 302s in contained one 302 from January 2005. Originally, I assumed that to also be one of Bologna's 302s but it was actually one of Peter Peluso's. It was the one that described a CI visiting Bellomo multiple times in prison throughout the 1990s and 2000s. So, to correct the record, Bologna did not visit Bellomo in prison, Peluso did (which makes a lot more sense).
