Colombo’s new reign
Now that the Persico’s power has basically ended .... What are the chances some one else can take grab and turn it all around. ( wild bill would of been a perfect person ). That family still is a Decent size , last bust shows they are still involved with unions and other big money things. If they get a strong boss that people can like and listen too, low profile and feared things can really change for them.... especially if they just make the right people moving forward and a strong structure now is the time

The last 30 years have been hit the hardest cause of bad leadership. Get someone that’s been off the radar and is all about the life. Have a couple close guys around him and make only a few certain guys That really deserve it.

Too Persico relatives in the family for let a out-of-family wiseguy to become the boss.

who the hell wants it? you immediately become a top priority target they are better off having a 3 man committee and switch it up every 6 months
Re: Colombo’s new reign
Persico family members still make up 20% of active Colombo members. Pogo did a great list of how many Persico relatives were living Colombo’s a few years ago. I’m sure you can find it

Re: Colombo’s new reign
Teddy Persico was supposed to be the boss but the September 2021 arrests changed that.
Joe Waverley is the guy who probably deserves the position the most but he’s on supervised release until 2025 and he’s already in his early 80s.
Sally Bread who was street boss at one point could step up again.

Re: Colombo’s new reign
They could always go with William Russo which would leave a Persico relative I'm charge. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten too much law enforcement attention.
Re: Colombo’s new reign
Why would that change anything? He's not looking at a crazy long time and it's not like the Colombos are opposed to having a Boss imprisoned.Little_Al1991 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 5:57 am Teddy Persico was supposed to be the boss but the September 2021 arrests changed that.

Think it's perfectly safe to assume Teddy is Boss until we hear something that says otherwise and someone on the street is AB for him or a panel.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.
Re: Colombo’s new reign
Pennisi recently did a video on the Colombos and he thinks there's a panel running the family.

Re: Colombo’s new reign
Recently, he pled not guilty to the charges. His legal issues and the fact that he’s not out on bail means that someone else is running the family in either an Acting position or a official/ruling panel position. It has yet to be confirmed that Teddy is the official boss.Respectfully, I would like to say it’s not safe to assume that Teddy’s the boss because we haven’t heard anything since the September indictmentsOcSleeper wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 8:49 amWhy would that change anything? 25% of that list is dead or in prison. Half are not even made( that we know about ) listed as associates .others aren’t in the life . A FEW are DISTANT family members. Just a couple Persico’s are high ranking members ...

Teddy's got the crown. No one else has the power to challenge.
