It was in GL a few years ago that Gene Gotti is in good standing with the Sicilian faction. He's probably the only Gotti thats not on the shelf.

Informed sources on both sides of the law tell Gang Land that Gotti, who was a family capo when he began his prison stretch, is still a wiseguy in good standing who has earned the right to retain an active role in the revamped Gambino borghata that is currently led by its Sicilian faction.

im sure someone on here knows his status. who knows maybe since he on paper, he hasn't met with the appropriate ppl to determine his exact status. Also if its true that someone was running his book or shy for all these years, I wonder how he gets it to him? Actually some time has passed maybe he's unrestricted. whatever the case, i find him and his current situation interesting

The guy was put away well over 30 years ago. I could be wrong, but this idea a has/had a book this whole time and is still collecting juice and principal is a fantasy. He's probably staying with family, and living off social security and whatever else himself and his family may have going for him.

And if he did matriculate back into the Gambinos, what the hell what he do? Pick up coffee and pastries? I know the italian mob still exists but people want it to be something it's not so bad.
