Lose another seminal actor and godfather to Andrew Mush’s kid as I recall James Caan.

The Godfather, Rollerball, Thief, The Yards, Alien Nation, Mickey Blue Eyes (yes sorry I like this one lol) ... A very great actor who played in a lot of genres.

He even played in a western of Claude Lelouch called Un autre homme, une autre chance in 1977 (Another man, another chance for the US title). Altrough I'm a big fan of Westerns (especially the Italian movies) I never saw this one. I hate Lelouch but I've heard the movie was nice.

Anyway RIP

For those interested you can stream Thief for free on the Tubi channel (also free). I'm watching it now. Never seen it before.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Directed by Michael Mann (Miami Vice). I wish Mann had done more movies about the bad guys.
Glick told author Nicholas Pileggi that he expected to meet a banker-type individual, but instead, he found Alvin Baron to be a gruff, tough-talking cigar-chomping Teamster who greeted him with, “What the fuck do you want?”
