I don't think I've hard anything about this. Any more context / info?Adam wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 6:02 pm I've mentioned this before, but I've always been intrigued by Sheeran's connection to Stanfa in the early 90s. Always found that interesting.

Cannot believe how stupid i was to have believed Sheeran all this time.
Some say that he was there but didn't pull the trigger. how would anyone possibly know that?
Don't know what to believe anymore

I agree with most of you. 99% of what Sheeran is saying is bullshit. But was he a close friend with Russell Bufalino? And if so, dig into a little more. That's the only part I'm still curious about. Because even in articles that say he is a complete bullshit artist they say he was friends with Bufalinoaleksandrored wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 6:42 pm A good article about Sheeran:

Re: Was Frank Sheeran referenced in Mob Prince?
What was the other book that described a Irish man that we discussed possibly being sheernan inside umbertos at the time of the gallo hit?
It had to either be Pete diaapolis book…. Or I guess a police report??? But I remember us discussing him possibly being at the scene…. And same with the Hoffa hit he was probably at the scene. Which to me is good enough I don’t necessarily need to know who the exact person was who pulled the trigger
At this rate we will probably never know … even tho there’s another dig coming up soon smh.
But I think that shern basically stretched the truth…. Rather then a kuklinski who just makes stuff up

HANG IT UP NICKY. ITS TIME TO GO HOME.
Re: Was Frank Sheeran referenced in Mob Prince?
So apparently Thomas Rebbie was taking care of Russell Bufalino at a federal prison hospital while Frank Sheeran was there also. So that's how they met. So at some point Sheeran recommended him to reach out to Stanfa and gave a recommendation for him around the end of August 1993. Rebbie was in the getaway car for the Baldino hit and got rid of guns/clothes/gloves/bullets. And he held on to guns and explosives for the Stanfa faction to use in the war.AnIrishGuy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 1:52 amI don't think I've hard anything about this. Stephen Weinstein was a driver for Frank Sheeran for a bit and that's how he met Stanfa. Weinstein ends up driving the getaway car for Veasey and Gallara after the Baldino murder while Rebbie was a passenger.
So Sheeran and Stanfa definitely knew each other and had to have been pretty close for Sheeran to send guys he knew to help Stanfa in the war. So I'll mention again, Stanfa may have been a bad boss, but he definitely had good connections.
Re: Was Frank Sheeran referenced in Mob Prince?
It would stand to reason that Stanfa knew Sheeran. Stanfa bartended in the 70's at a bar that was owned by Frank Sindone. Seems Stanfa was assigned to Sindone when he transfered into the family. Sindone was Angelo Bruno's point person with the unions and had meetings with Buffalino about problems they had in common during the later part of the '70's.
Now was Sheeran a hitman who killed Hoffa? Heck no. He was a brokester who sold a fake story when he was dying to raise some money. Was he a union official who was close with Buffalino? Yep. That part is very true.

The union segments of his book are pretty factual. Especially dealing with the POWER movement in the Local 107.

Really good, thanks for sharing. Obviously I didn't start this thread with even the slightest intention of suggesting Sheeran told the truth about anything (other than the widely accepted acquaintance with Bufalino).aleksandrored wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 6:42 pm A good article about Sheeran:

But even still he's an intriguing character and it was very interesting to hear of his involvement in Philly in the 90s. To answer my original quesiton, it seems that it was quite possibly Sheeran who made Nicky Scarfo get all Joe Pesci on it!
