Well Nicky Jr got lucky as Joey was going to eventually hit him……

Nicky Jr had a restaurant in Ventnor when he first came back to the AC Area and Joey was sending guys to case him and get a read on his day to day activities to hit Nicky Jr.

The only thing that stopped it was Joey and his crew getting indicted in the late 90s.

What I don’t understand was how the rat AP and Sammy Piccolo got transferred to Philly after Nicky Jr went away as they were in Nicky Jr’s AC Crew.

What I am thinking is that Philly LCN wanted to get a foothold back into the AC Area rackets that bad they took in their enemy’s guys. I am only guessing this from the indictment that AP brought onto the Philly guys when he went bad and from Stevie’s little Pep Talk that jerkoff AP recorded….

You are right. He had the restaurant in Ventnor. He told Leonetti who came to visit him there that Stevie Mazzone was sending guys to shake him down for $$. And I think that is the only reason Piccolo was transferred because Mazzone is on tape saying he wanted to take AC shake everyone down. etc.

So Mazzone was trying to shake down a made guy in another family ? Or was this before he was made ?

I don’t get how Scarfo and his cousin Sal got 30 years. That seems excessive even with priors. The Philly guys lawyers would have never let that happen.

Always thought the feds will let you take a 15yr plea on about any crime except murder and the sex charges

I think if I recall from big trial the feds plea offer was like 25-27 years anyway and like 24 years for pellulo. Maxwells were offered like 10 anyway so they went to trial

Scarfo was facing additional charges on top of FirstPlus. He was already a felon but was facing gammbling, hallow point ammunition, illegal firearms charges. On top of that he went to trial where the accountant who knew everything flipped. Doesn’t surprise me he got 30 yrs

If you look into it Scarfo Jr and Pellulo where buying private yachts and jets as soon as they became the owners of the company. Pellulo even had a violinist play The Godfather theme in front of the board of directors

This was direct from Leonetti's book.. So I am not sure if he was made with the Lucchese family or not. I don't think it would matter since its AC area which is tradionally Philly .
