Whst happened to Alphonse Trucchio

I thought he moved to Boca or Delray a few yrs ago? The being Shelved thing all came out of his dispute during trial with JoJo's Lawyer son ? Am I wrong? Thanks

There’s that, and then there’s the one he punched Pepe Vernace in the face in prison.

Vernace reportedly slapped Trucchio.

I heard Al punched Pepe, why would al get shelved if he was the one that got hit? Wouldn’t it be Pepe plus, buttons are hung at the door when everyone steps into a prison.

I'm pretty sure the story is he disrespected Vernace who was consigliere at the time and thats why he was slapped. The rumor is he was trying to extort Frank Roccaforte who was collecting money for Trucchio and Frank Roc's dad sent word to Vernace about it. Vernace went to speak to Trucchio and Trucchio disrespected him which led to Vernace hitting him. So you have that incident plus him disrespecting Joe Corozzo sr and jr in court and thats why he's shelved.

Capeci also said Trucchio may have been beaten up in prison and did some of his time in segregation. Ernie Grillo was shelved, beat up then got brought back into the fold and is now a captain so you never know, he’s young and a big earner

Maybe Alphonse wanted out and moved to Florida and doesn't really give a f*ck about his current status in his "family." I mean he did 10 Years.
I'm not a big fan of getting rewarded for things your supposed to do. For example, not ratting, your not supposed to do that. It's not some outlier it's in page 1 of the rulebook. You should not be celebrated for following some rules you committed too and you fully understood prior to accepting.

However, in an era where everyone seems to be flipping you got to cut some of these ppl some slack. Your going to shelve him and say he's a snitch after he did 10 years, cmon now... Unless there is a more to the story that I don't know about which there probably is. I'm just speaking of what I heard on here and newspapers.

I remember reading one passed at an early age I think.
Another went so long without taking a pinch his people began to suspect he may of been a snitch which I think turned out to be not true I'm pretty sure
