Gun trafficking

Post by Nurzhamba »

Who do you know of the mafiosi who were involved in the arms trade? I read articles in the news about Dino Basciano, connectes with Lucchese family from Brooklyn, who allegedly armed two faction of the Colombo family, Orena and Persico in 91-93. Were there those who were constantly engaged in this type of business, I can think of only 2-3 names, no more.

I have always been interested in the issue of supplying weapons, for example, during the third Colombo war, they used different weapons: from simple revolvers/pistols to automatic weapons and rifles. I think that during the investigation, names about the suppliers of weapons came up.

We do see the occasional charge (usually a relatively more minor one included amongst others) of LCN guys selling guns but it's on a limited, ad hoc involvement. It's certainly not a core business for them.
All roads lead to New York.
