I know that place very well, pretty quiet hotel with doormen, concierge and staff always present in the lobby. Actual people living there. It is absolutely impossible to shoot somebody there and remove the body without being heard or attracting attention.
Let alone the fact that it is a mere 10 min walk from the damn U.N so it always has some foreign officials or the secret service roaming around. These guys had to know this since they had used the place before.
I always thought they were going to take D'Arco somewhere else to do the hit. I think in D'Arcos book he mentions the pretext of the meeting was to talk about cardboard box disposal or something like that, so maybe D'Arco got out of the hotel room before they could go to another location.

D’Arco talked about meeting with Steve Crea after they were taken down from their acting positions and discussed killing Amuso and Casso. Is it possible Crea went back and told Amuso who then authorized the hit on D’Arco?

D’Arco’s son killed Anthony DiLapi. He also was on the hit team when Peter Chiodo was hit.
His son is still in the Witness Protection Program presumably. He should start his own YouTube channel

It’s unlikely because Crea went along with it but because Louie “Bagels” Daidone didn’t come into the plan, D’Arco decided that it couldn’t be done
The botched attempt on Chiodo’s life led to D’Arco’s downfall

It was because he was loyal. When Vic made him the Acting Boss in 1991.It was because he wanted someone who would follow all of his orders. He wanted someone he could control and someone who wouldn’t make a move against him.
This is also the reason as to why Joseph “Little Joe” DeFede became the Acting Boss of the Lucchese Family.

Yeah when I read his book Al seemed like a bum to me. Never was a money maker, or an enforcer, based off his book it’s hard realize why they inducted him in the family, much less made him boss. The only reason it makes sense is because he was easily controlled. That’s my take on little al.

So louie went to casso and fingerd bruno a informant. So he got whacked. Vic amuso kinda went the extra yard an told the killers to put a canary in his mouth. Makes you wonder if there was a little personal between the 2. But again casso give the info to amuso.
im kind of concerned that eppollito didn't suffer enough for his horriblel crimes. i feel bad for ppl like hydell's family but those two brothers were scary, crazy, evil. like those mutts that killed J Waverly';s cop that married his wife. horrible ppl.
