Wasn't that an unsanctioned hit by Angelo Ruggiero because Casso called him a rat? And Ruggiero was demoted and effectively shelved as a result. Or am I think it of something else?

I thought it was because Casso took more than his fair share from Ruggiero in a mutual drug deal but it was definitely unsanctioned. Danny Marino said as much to Casso as he was watching his nephew Jimmy Hydell being tortured to death.
