That was an excellent story. I haven't been tarpon fishing in a long time (target different species now), but the tarpon guys are super obsessed with the silver king. On Erra, I had heard his name a bit over the years from guys in Homosassa.

I just read it, cool story. a lot more about him in roberts book by evan wright that i found very good and heavily researched
