Armchair MBA w Tom La Vecchia
After Pennisi and him separated, more than a few people unsubbed because JP was the star, but for those who dont know he's done a few mobcasts and had both Antonio Nicaso and Bonanno associated informant Frank Flondino (sp) on. Both interviews were quite good and informative. He, as an interviewer, has more knowledge than the average interviewer and it helps.
I endorse his podcast and think the ones covering this topic are a great addition to our knowledge-base.

They were better together, in my opinion. They made a good team. It's too bad everything they did together was deleted. There was a lot of valuable information in those videos. At any rate, Tom is still putting out good content that's worth watching.
Re: Armchair MBA w Tom La Vecchia
You can tell Tom is more relaxed , though without John. I bet someday Tom will get into what John has told him, privately. That's where the classified Intel is imo.
Re: Armchair MBA w Tom La Vecchia
John himself seems to have slowed down on his mini casts and blog posts. I'm a fan of Tom's, he seems like a genuinely good dude.

They were good together and while hindsight is 20/20, I could see why things wouldnt work out forever. 1 as stated, JP seemed to be getting tired of all the topics but also 2, Tom thought they were a team and flew too close to the sun. No one was there for Tom, all the focus was on John and the show tried to cheech and Chong them. The made guy, regardless of stature, isn't going to be satisfied as a duo and if he's going to go into "the life" from this platform the opportunist in him would eventually ask, "is this something I cant do myself?"
I think Tom will do better on his own and in regards to Jp, they covered alot of ground and when you start planning soprano episode reviews that's a good indicator that the cow was milked dry.

I was one of the people who unsubbed until you told me to check out his new videos the other day.
Tom is doing a great job with his new interviews and working closely with Pennisi gave him a better understanding of the subject matter. He is a good guy with a genuine interest in the subject so he has my total support.

I am rooting for Tom now. JP has become annoying IMO with his sensitivity and thinking people are interested in anything he talks about rather than just his first hand accounts of the life or second hand little known stories. Other than that he brings nothing to the table except an inflated ego.
If nobody sees it, it didn't happen.
