In the early 1980s Miami was full of cocaine why the mob never tried to set a miami crew or buy high quantity of coke for sell it in NY as wholesalers?

The mob was (and is) involved down the line more at the mid-level but when you've got guys affiliated with the Cali cartel setting up shop in NYC, it's difficult not to be marginalized. LCN never had the same level of control over the supply of cocaine that it did heroin.furiofromnaples wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 1:15 am In the early 1980s Miami was full of cocaine why the mob never tried to set a miami crew or buy high quantity of coke for sell it in NY as wholesalers?
Even today, after marijuana and prescription drugs, cocaine is the drug you see the most mob cases with. But it's in smaller volume compared to those other ones.
All roads lead to New York.
