Chicago Gambling Question for the experts

Post by cavita »

Anyone heard of or have info on a Musherr Rashada, born approximately in 1945, and was active in gambling in Chicago in the early 1980s? Apparently he had quite a few gambling convictions there- I'd like to see if he was tied up with the Outfit and who may have been his point man.

I'm only aware of his arrest in Rockford in 1983. That's it.

I dont know if this guy had close Outfit connections but you can never be 100% sure with those gambling activities since lots of bookies were involved in the scheme, especially during that period. Also the area these guys controlled used to be under the Outfit. This is from 1981...

Thanks for the article! I've seen this Herbert Harvey character in print before too. No knowledge if this was tied to the Outfit though, huh?
