BOP inmate locator shows him still being alive, although I don't know how quickly they would update that. I remember last year when the rumour went around that he died of covid it actually made it onto his wikipedia page for a while. Which I guess tells you all you need to know about wiki as a source.

Federal BOP inmate locator is updated daily or close to it. Madonna is almost certainly still alive.
