Didn't Stanfa have relatives in Sicily who were connected to the Gambino crime family?

NJShore4Life...I have to disagree "just a neighborhood softball team nothing to do with the life " ,As far as Ginos Cafe BB team , Ginos which was Merlinos HQ, And the last team had some shirts 9th & Christian which was the new mob club house for starters ,

Then Boss ,under boss , Captains and soldiers and associates playing on the same team and watching and coaching , Of course they had some guys to fill in that could play they didnt want to lose,

Whatever it was it sure wasnt low key

As far as I’m concerned Merlino is a gangster but he’s hardly LCN. He had an instagram account. Enough said? His family is like a College Fraternity
Plenty of mob guys are on social media these days. Genovese soldier Salvatore Larca had a Facebook page, although he seems to have taken it down or made it private. As long as they're not posting anything incriminating it doesn't really matter.
Tony Mucci, Nick Cotroni, Frank Cotroni Jr, Frank Albanese, Donald Driver and a bunch of serious Montreal guys have Facebook accounts as well. Mucci even posts daily inspirational quotes.
You guys are missing my point. You’re giving names because they have membership but it’s another example of the changing culture within LCN. Nobody should have a social media in LCN.

I’m sure they’d be saddened to hear they didn’t meet your LCN requirements.

Do you think anybody who was a boss in the 80s when they were still successful would approve? Considering their declining power perhaps LCN is taking itself less seriously (which it definitely does now).

I know it gets said a lot that the quality of a mobster has declined and it’s true. But imagine all the guys from back in the day in the current climate. I’d bet we’d be shocked of how many of them would/where retards, informants and drug users.

I’m betting if the guys today where in the 80s or something they would be making a ton of money and doing a fuckton of hits. But times have changed you can’t do that anymore

We knock on the Tuccio kid but imagine how many of him there where back in the heyday of the mob. Retards doing shit for 50+ something Italian American criminals

None of this shit was around in the 80s. It’s not like those guys weren’t all congregating and taking pictures with each other. These guys are posting pictures of themselves out to dinner or down the shore; they’re not taking a pinch for that.

He was the uncle of Antonino Giuffrè the boss of Caccamo until he flips in 2002. I think that he was one of the many siggies who searched fortune in the US in the 1960s and that Stanfa havent more connections if he must went to Philly rathen stay in NY with the Gambinos.

Thanks for your message Furio and it seems that Stanfa was connected to the Sicilian Mafia rather than the New York LCN if he was related to the boss of Caccamo

That last one seems to have been more common in the past, especially in the form of smackheads, than one might assume.

Wasn’t Stanfa made in Sicily? He was heavily connected to the Sicilians and was accepted in Philly as a favor to the Gambino’s if I remember correctly.

Plenty of cokeheads in the 70s and 80s too.

Become the Bruno driver but nothing more. When Bruno was killed in 1980 he was still an associate but I can't find a list of Philly inductions list to say when he was exactly made.

That was well-known to me, but I was surprised by how many old-timers were into heroin in like the 50s when I found out about it.
