Unbelievable, they torture these guys in the hopes that somebody confesses. All to divert attention from their fuckup with Bulger. Two wrongs don't make a right and these bureau of prison bastards are not right by any means.

Bop killed bulger no doubt about that , your right probably has to do with some lawsuit , trying to cover there asss

that's insane they've been in solitary that long, especially without any charges filed. feels like an 8th amendment violation.

If Freddy Geas doesn't flip and accept to his life sentence (despite he's greek and wouldn't be made but only because he's a stand up man) I highly doubt that he will flip now. They won't take him in hole for long now that the other was transfered and the Geas son is drawing attention to his father's situation.

This New York Times story is one of the most interesting I've read about the whole thing especially what the BOP spokesman says at the end. This was published a few weeks after those initial reports about Geas.
Also of note is that Geas and McKinnon were cellmates and Bulger was supposed to bunk with DeCologero but at the last minute they moved Bulger to somebody else's cell. I think it's talked about in this story.

Re: Geas now the only one in solitary, DeColgero transferred.
Honestly not to get all conspiracy theory over here but wasn’t Bulger planning a tell all book and then he got moved to a unit with known mafia members from the same area he was active
Re: Geas now the only one in solitary, DeColgero transferred.
You leave a lifetime rat with a guy who's doing life for the complete opposite...wtf did they expect? Penpals? Geas has been in solitary for over 730 days.. he gets no empathy or calls for due process bc he's white and associated with Italian OC

Also interesting that this guy was never investigated and then transferred out soon after.

Man convicted of ’93 mob hit in Sharon moved from W. Va. prison where James “Whitey” Bulger was killed
By Travis Andersen Globe Staff,December 20, 2018, 9:36 a.m.
A former Burlington plumber serving a life sentence for a 1993 mob hit in Sharon has been moved from the West Virginia prison where Southie gangster James “Whitey” Bulger was murdered in October, records show.
Paul M. Weadick, 63, the former plumber doing life for the 1993 slaying of a club owner, was recently moved from USP Hazelton, where Bulger was killed, to USP Canaan in Waymart, Pa., according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website.
The reason for the move wasn’t clear. Weadick hasn’t been implicated in the fatal beating of Bulger, which remains under investigation.
A BOP spokesperson said the agency does not disclose the reasons for moving specific inmates. The BOP site says inmates can be transferred for a variety of reasons including health, security, and programming needs.
Weadick’s lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.
Weadick and former New England mob boss Francis “Cadillac Frank” Salemme, 85, were convicted in federal court in Boston in July of murdering club owner Steven DiSarro to keep DiSarro from cooperating with the FBI.
Both men were sentenced to life in prison, and are appealing their convictions. Salemme remains locked up at a federal transfer facility in Brooklyn, according to the BOP site.
Salemme detested Bulger and testified against Bulger’s corrupt FBI handler, John Connolly, who’s serving a 40-year bid for helping Bulger commit a murder.
Weadick was incarcerated at USP Hazelton in West Virginia when the 89-year-old Bulger, serving life for a host of crimes including 11 murders, was bludgeoned to death within hours of his arrival at the prison.
No one’s been charged with killing Bulger, but four inmates at Hazelton have been linked to the slaying. Weadick is not among that group of suspects.
Among the four suspects is Fotios “Freddy” Geas, a Mafia hitman from West Springfield who is serving a life sentence for two murders. The Globe has reported that law enforcement officials said Geas has admitted he attacked Bulger but claims he acted alone.
