I knew it was BS when Hootie said it...

I wonder what do the Sicilian faction of the Gambinos think of the Americans.

Hootie’s stories are hard to follow but on a recent video Hootie said that a lot of guys got hit with ax handles for calling Al “Ronnies kid” and also that he abused some guy and pulled a knife on him. Maybe he wasn’t a cowboy but I’m sure he’s not a guy to play with. I mean he’s a captain in the Gambinos and despite what these rats like John Alite like to say, you don’t make it to that role without handling your business.

Does anyone know Al’s and Mikey Roc’s level of involvement with the Ozone Park Boys? Because those guys were cowboys and left bodies in New York and Florida

Hootie and Pennisi obviously can’t stand each other but one thing they are in 1000% agreement on is Ronnie G’s status as a bonafide tough guy.

Hootie actually has hinted at Ronnie G punking Al on a couple occasions.

The oz park Boys at one point where Al's. After ronnie when away. Their all gone when you leave bodies and do cowboy shit you don't last long. Some remnants of that crew are around younger guys a few from the same hootie indictment

Hootie's latest video about Al's encounter with Basciano in East Harlem is interesting, to say the least. If that really went down, it's kind of funny and ridiculous. Hootie made some pretty crazy passive accusations against Basciano too - claiming Basciano published a book about himself from prison (clearly the Author's name...same Author who wrote unauthorized bios on Carneglia and Massino...is right on the fucking cover) and saying that Basciano "got out" of having that hit list with the prosecutors on there

Also ever since Hootie hit the podcast circuit he's gone back and forth from basically calling Al a complete pussy, to saying he was the perfect wiseguy. Outside of who his Dad was, if he was in a neighborhood like that and was able to pull off managing one of the most active and profitable crews in the family, while being surrounded by like 2-3 crews from other families, and close with his own Administration - I'd go out on a limb to think he was the real deal. There's probably a reason he was at that lunch in Jersey with the Philly guys and it wasn't because he was a good joke teller / story teller.

Vernace is dead,is strange that a once powerful capo would retire without trying to return in the ranks.

Who says he retired by choice? Last we heard on him Capeci wrote about Trucchio and Nick Corozzo being at the same halfway house. He could be off the shelf now for all we know but if the incident with Vernace is true then possibly not because as Browniety86 said, Vernace and Cefalu were very close. If Trucchio insulted Vernace Cefalu could hold that grudge and keep Trucchio on the outs.

Guys getting shelved then taken off seems to happen a lot in the mob world now. Just look at Ernie Grillo, he was shelved for years then was made captain again under the same bosses.
