Funny Zef story. He was a notoriously bad drunk and a real bully too. One night he got real liquored up and rowdy. He puts his hands on this guy who used to do tax returns and was literally 5'2", then breaks the glass window to the refrigerator in the club he was in. The next morning the guy who owned the club came in and saw cardboard boxes cut out to cover the refrigerator window in a makeshift cover for the door and says "What the fuck happened here". The guys in the club told him, and as soon as Zef came down that day, they told him "Go see Joe Gambino across the street, he wants to see you". He came back about 15 mins later, put 300 dollars on the counter and said, "This is for the door" and walked out, never to return again. Joe Gambino barred him from coming into that club anymore.
