Just a guess.. Joe Pontoriero would've been around 63 or 64 then. He was named in court as an associate in January 2003 and was reported as a made member by 2005. Could be him.

It's also possible that Joseph Truncale was made in one of these earlier ceremonies. In August 2000, Thomas Carew told Bruce Mouw that Truncale "had been 'made' for nearly 20 years." So that would put his induction at somewhere in the early 1980s. However, it's important to note that Carew was only ever an associate, he only gave a rough estimate and there's conflicting information from member sources.

In November 1991, Al D'Arco told the FBI about a conversation he had with Casso where he described inducting Truncale as a "blunder" made by Amuso. We also know that Truncale was friends with Amuso, so that would also fit with the idea that he got made after Amuso became boss.

Truncale participated in the June 1989 murder of Red Calder, so timeline wise that could potentially suggest that he was made at the October/ November 1989 ceremony with DeSantis, Pagliarulo, DeFede and Federico. (That's if Papagni wasn't the fifth guy at that ceremony). Or, due to his friendship with Amuso, it's also possible he could've been made earlier with the likes of Chiodo and Lastorino. Personally, 1989 makes more sense to me, even though it's really stretching that "nearly 20 years" comment Carew made in 2000.

Reynold Maragni was inducted on March 9, 2008 (Palm Sunday). Acting underboss Richie Fusco, capo Benji Castellazzo, and Dennis DeLucia attended the ceremony. Gioeli couldn't attend because he believed he had a law enforcement tail.

In his latest video, Pennisi mentioned that the house where his making ceremony took place was the house of the business partner of the cigar shop John Castellucci owns, the business partner is Jewish? Interesting because the house is not owned by a made guy but an associate.
