DeMeo crew member Carlo Profeta (he's mentioned briefly in Murder Machine) got made with the Luccheses eventually. He's still with them AFAIK.

Car thief and murderer Peter LaFroscia is out and and doing horrible YouTube interviews.

The rest cooperated, are dead, or in jail. I'm not sure what happened to some of the more obscure ones like Ronald Turekian (BOP says he was released in 1989).

Was Jack Luppino's wife Domenica Todaro related to the Buffalo Todaros?

from twitter -

Joseph E. Todaro, father to Joseph A. Todaro (who is alleged in late October / early November 2017 to have appointed Domenico Violi to underboss of the Buffalo Family), was born in Buffalo. According to mafia historians Thomas Hunt and Mike Tona, Todaro Sr.'s father was born in Montallegro, in Agrigento (Sicily). I'm assuming Giacomo Luppino's wife, Domenica Todaro, could not have been related to Todaro Sr.'s mother, Salvatrice (Sarah) Frangiamore, who was born in Mussomeli, in Caltanissetta (Sicily). I'm having a hard time seeing how Domenica would have made her way from Sicily (not necessarily in Montallegro) to Castellace, in Reggio Calabria. - it makes sense...

Yeah, technically a sub-crew. The crew, proper, was led by Gaggi. DeMeo was one of several soldiers in the crew. And he had how own sub-crew of associates - the "DeMeo Crew."

I think JD compiled this 1979 chart of the Gaggi crew...

Anthony 'Nino' Gaggi (54y)

Soldiers
- Frank Bonino (62y)
- John 'Johnny Pesche' Chiarello (66y)
- Joseph 'Joe Brewster' Delmonico (59y)
- Roy DeMeo (39y)
- Gregory DePalma (47y) (IP)
- James 'Jimmy the Clam' Eppolito (63y) (Murdered 10.1979)
- James Eppolito Jr. (33y) (Murdered 10.1979)
- Frank 'Butch' Guglielmini (54y)
- Joseph Guglielmini (69y)
- Accursio 'Swifty' Marinelli (68y)
- Victor Masotto (70y)
- Peter 'Petey 17' Piacenti (58y)

Associates [most with DeMeo]
- Vito Arena (37y)
- Henry Borelli (31y)
- James Coonan (33y) (Westies)
- Frederick DiNome (39y)
- Paul 'Paulie Pinto' Dordal (33y)
- Joseph 'Dracula' Guglielmo (51y)
- Philip 'Philly Glass' Massi
- Dominick Montiglio (32y) (On Record with Gaggi) (Fled 12.1979)
- Harvey 'Chris' Rosenberg (29y) (Murdered 5.1979)
- Edward 'Fast Eddie' Rendini (30y)
- Frank Santora Jr. (43y) (On Record with Eppolito)
- Anthony Senter (24y)
- Joseph Testa (24y)
- Patrick Testa (22y)
- Ronald 'Bulldog' Turekian (22y)
- Ronald Ustica (35y) (Partner with DeMeo in autotheft operation)
- Herman 'Hymie' Weisberger (59y) (On Record with DeMeo)
All roads lead to New York.

What can you or anyone else tell me about these five? I don't recall them being mentioned in Murder Machine, though I've seen them elsewhere such as in the LCN Bios article. Thanks in advance.

In Casso's book he claims he bought a 707 and would fly over to South America for dope.

Any truth to this? He made it seem like he was direct with cartels.
I didn't torture the kid, didn't do nuttin like that. Shot him a couple times and he died.

According to Valachi, Frank Livorsi & Joe Stracci were presents with Luciano & Genovese. I don't know if they're really the shooters but it's not impossible IMO

Who took over as captain after Nino Gaggi was demoted?
