Richie Gotti
I've heard alot abt Gene and Pete Gotti, but what was John's brother Richie's reputation like? Was he respected? I know at one point he was an official captain with the Gambinos but I've never really heard much on him.
Re: Richie Gotti
He Ran the veterans and friends social club. John like to call him Pee Pee Brain or Pee pee head. Made in 1988? Son Richard G also made member. Google search him. I also think he was the Gotti that was obsessed with mowing grass and worked at the Mets stadium doing maintenance at one point

The Our Friends Social Club - the Gotti Brother's sister club to the Bergen. I wonder if that many people hung out at the Bergen that they opened a second place for overflow.
Those ground crew jobs at the baseball stadiums are insanely hard to get. I'd drop everything to be able to do that, no bullshit. I think it was Yankee Stadium that Richard Gotti worked grounds at but the only place I've seen that was on Wikipedia. Not that there are really too many mysteries when it comes to the Gotti family anymore, but a made guy running tarp at the baseball stadium is something you'd think you'd hear about more. We've heard about Pete's sanitation gig from a variety of sources. Either way it's a sweet job - I think they are passed down between relatives and connections basically, and I know Citi Field actually requires landscaping degrees for some of their grounds guys now.

What about the job makes it particularly attractive?newera_212 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 5:28 pm The Our Friends Social Club - the Gotti Brother's sister club to the Bergen. I wonder if that many people hung out at the Bergen that they opened a second place for overflow.

Re: Richie Gotti
This gets a little wordy is a 4e&
Turf management Bachelors from a top AG school like your purdue had my Buddy as thr Phillies head field management . I'm not positive but I think most baseball fields are sti11ll grass. This job is obviously important it's not as simple as you'd think to keep those fields looking completely perfectly green and striped and groomed like that. I would think he was making 100k+ straight out the gate but that degree is no cake wall. Purdue science and math that accompany it are brutally hard. Purdue is a top academic school second only to Northwestern, Michigan is up there too. The big ten as a conference also has a lot of top ag schools too. I've always wondered how northwestern can compete athletically as its set up %more like an ivy league school. But Richies' obsession with grass and the fact that these jobs only higher people in the top of this industry. Pro Golf tee++e Gotti were exceptionally bright, (please excuse this as just my opinion I'm guessing he mowed the grass. Again supposedly has a severe obsession with grass.

Depends on your personality I guess. If you're a baseball fan and you're adverse to being behind a screen all day, it couldn't be better. Depending where you are on the crew, it pays well - and you're not working 5 days a week 365 days a year.UTC wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 11:01 pmWhat about the job makes it particularly attractive?newera_212 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 5:28 pm The Our Friends Social Club - the Gotti Brother's sister club to the Bergen.
