I do believe I've provided more than enough information to support my arguments. And as I've said before, anyone who takes an opposing view is always a "hater." I'm not a hater of anything or anyone. So get that straight. You guys can gang up on me all you want. Doesn't affect me. Because as you've seen since I've been on this board....I'm still here and I still stand by what I say.Dwalin2014 wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 9:44 amWhen people lack arguments to support their position, they always laugh. Private citizens? These people are active criminals, if they get exposed, well that just provides a net positive to society. Not like he is telling anything that he didn't tell the FBI already.ShockTroop wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 10:12 am Jeremy you're the hater. Re: John Pennisi: The Tim Tebow of the Mafia
Who says they're active criminals? Pennissi who tells dishonorable stories about every person he met. Or the MBA who's a farmer that has never been to Queens. Get real this kind of gossip is despicable on many levels. Because someone puts a title on on someone that person or the their immediate family, meaning spouse and children are not entitled to the dignity of not being bashed on the web. That kind of thinking is why they're so many frame jobs in the court system.

Re: John Pennisi: The Tim Tebow of the Mafia
Since you guys want to talk about Crea so much. Let's talk about him and others who have gone to trial facing informants - using your examples. Explain to me if Pennisi deserves a pass for a 10-year-old murder (in which he killed an innocent man) for which he paid his debt...then why is it that Crea or any other defendant isn't given the same treatment for convictions in which they've also paid their debts?
In a trial, the prosecution is allowed to bring up the defendant's previous convictions in detail. But when it comes to informants - the defense isn't allowed to bring it up. So, how exactly is that fair? In fact, in Pennisi's case, the Kuper murder was only allowed to be referenced as "a serious crime" in all three of the trials he testified at. Is that fair? There's a huge difference between a "serious crime" and "murder" or "manslaughter."

Re: John Pennisi: The Tim Tebow of the Mafia
Sonny Franzes was framed for bank robberies. But because he had a title in the media the agents doing it said who cares. He's a gangster anyway. Who wants to live in a country where law enforcement is capable of framing people. How is that good for anyone? The rat podcasts are the very similar. They talk about people that can't defend themselves. You hear one side of the story. The rat Podcasters label people with no due process.
Re: John Pennisi: The Tim Tebow of the Mafia
Sonny Franzese may have been framed in that case but come on dude. He is estimated to have killed over 50 people, dishonorably discharged, raped a 16 yr old girl fucking extorting people in his 80s
These rats help better our society. These guys take a fucking blood oath to commit crimes till they die not exactly model citizens.
These “Standup guys” would probably fucking rob and kill you given the chance. These “rats” may be scumbags but so are the people they put away

Re: John Pennisi: The Tim Tebow of the Mafia
And as far as private citizens are concerned - they are private citizens. You're casting them as "active criminals" because that's what the government wants you to believe. Maybe you're not from this country but we are (every American) supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately, that's not how it works because people are being painted guilty before they even step foot in a courtroom via the media, including podcasts, while the informants get to paint themselves as the great saviors of society with no one to challenge whether what they're printing and broadcasting is true or not.

Dave65827. You're not a blinking an eye at government corruption. You're saying it's OK to frame Sonny because you think you know what he did. How can you be so Anti American? Don't you love this country and the concept of justice. We don't want a banana republic justice system because then it trickles down into other spheres of life not related to OC. You must be one of those UK or European rat fan boys that thinks the Albanian guy Podcaster is helping the children. Lol

This notion that Pennisi is unfairly targeting private citizens who were just minding their own business is laughable. Following that logic, no one should ever write a book or article about their own life because the details might include people who aren’t public figures. LOL.
And not for nothing, Pennisi has had nothing but good things to say about *several* people in that life. Maybe not Dellorusso or Castelucci, but many others have been on the receiving end of nothing but compliments from Pennisi. He bends over backwards to clarify if he’s speaking on something he knows firsthand or if he’s talking about something someone told him. He doesn’t thump his chest and portray himself to be some heavy hitter.
Plus, as someone else mentioned, this is a forum where people share and discuss things related to the mafia. 98% of that information has come, directly or indirectly, from rats. Either rats that shared the info with the gov’t, or rats like Pennisi that share it directly with the reader. I will never understand people coming on this forum to loudly proclaim how much they hate rats. It’s so performative. Go down to a social club and share those feelings with them. In the grand scheme of things, is cooperating *that* much more morally abhorrent than selling heroin or shaking down some poor immigrants for $$? NONE of these guys are altar boys.

Re: John Pennisi: The Tim Tebow of the Mafia
Ed what's twisted about your rant is you ignored the most important element of the post your acknowledging. The aspect of Sonny being framed. Are you ok with a banana republic judicial system? Are you ok with Podcasters labeling people without hearing the other side of the story? Do you think it's cool that pennisi walked around the city like a sponge and met all types of people and now bashes them with no regard for their families just so he and the MBA can get views? This thread is not so much about organized crime bit about about how morally bankrupt society has become. How selfish society has become. How men are no longer men!! How a handshake means nothing anymore. How the lowest dirt bags in society can be glorified as heroes.
