Yep and Simone Esposito was put on the shelf for stealing from it.

I don't think Mancuso would have been able to hit Cammarano jnr.

If he actually tried to clip him (and for all we know he did try....) I think there would have been a way bigger ordeal made from all this.

We dont know if Mancuso left Spirito jr and Esposito on the shelf. They were shelved by Joe C. Mancuso shelved Cammarano jr, John Zancocchio, Vito Grimaldi and Joseph Grimaldi after the trial. Probably Dino Cammarano Joe C's younger brother too but he wasnt mentioned by Capeci.

If you ask me, these guys are lucky they got shelved. They're millionaires who are now free to enjoy their money. Plus, if they get hit with RICO indictments in the future, they can legitimately claim they're no longer part of the organization.

Hmm hard to say but I sincerely doubt all these shelved guys are millionaires who can live off the money they've already made, especially considering the lifestyle.

Great point. Joe C and the other shelved Bonannos should take Mikey Nose’s order as a blessing.

Maybe not all of them, but I remember someone saying that Porky Zancocchio and the other guys who were shelved after the trial were huge earners.

The bonnanos always seem to have something going on compared to the other families. Seems like every 3 years an administration gets busted and every year another guy flips and brings down a crew.

Interesting family constantly in chaos never seems to catch a break

That's where you get the friction. Mancuso shelved these guys and simultaneously has to assign other soldiers/captains (usually guys close to him) to take over their action. It's mafia style wealth redistribution and it doesn't always go over well if the guys who's wealth is being redistributed are still alive and/or strong enough to defend themselves. The guys he shelved were powerhouses and vey well liked, IMO Mancuso shelved these guys to shame them and teach them a lesson I wouldn't be surprised if all or most of them have already been reinstated.

It's a lot knowledge and connections to give up I'd put them all back as soldiers in the crew of my most loyal captain.
