Capeci came out April last year stating Cef was acting, Paradiso was consig and Mannino rounded out the admin. So we knew back then he was acting/official UB.

Does Capeci really confirm Mannino as current underboss? He basically says its the opinion of mob watchers. But on another point I always found it strange fot Vernace to be consiglieri, seeing that Cefalu was named acting boss because of the indictments against the ruling panel members. Marino Vernace and possibly Giordano.

Does 'mob watchers' include LE sources? Anyone with an interest in the subject is a 'mob watcher'. Its a vague and not entrusting term.
Is Capeci engaging in baseless speculation, rumour, heresay or are his sources credible?

If someone can msg him for clarification it would help. How certain is he on this?

While Mannino was a likely candidate to succeed Cali as underboss, there has been nothing that Iv seen that shows LE confirmation. I believe its been confirmed that he was a Capo that was helping the Administration in running the Family after Cali was killed.I put everything in past tense because its been a few years since Calis murder. Who knows by now Cefalu and Mannino are candidates for Official Boss position that recently opened up with Pete Gotti dying or could have opened up when Gotti denounced the life 2 years ago.

read bobby glasses was official consig he died in jail i would assume they put a guy in there as official. there the strongest family in the usa argubly 1 oe 2 they put mikey paradiso as consig. he was a big herion guy so he probaly in with the zips since the 60tys

Paradisio was friend's with corozzo I think?? He didn't like Gotti and I remember he smacked him or something like that.

It seems Gambino fam is being run by the "conservative side" again as opposed to the more flamboyant Gotti side
