I’ve lived here for years, take the subway regularly, and can personally attest that since last year I have seen instances of disturbing and violent behavior, including gross harassment and physical confrontation of Asians by deranged bigots, at a frequency that I have never seen in the years that I’ve lived here. If you speak to New Yorkers, of any color or ethnic origin, you will hear many similar accounts.

It ain’t professional-managerial types who’ve largely been able to enjoy the luxury of working remotely during the pandemic and don’t live in NYCHA housing held hostage by gangbangers. Go laugh at some Chinese lady who has to walk around in fear of being targeted by some creep just for being Asian while commuting to her shitty job, or a parent stuck in the PJs because they can’t afford market rate housing on their wage and have to fear if their kid will make it home everyday.

Everytime I put on the news and another 78 year old bottle collecting chinese lady gets punched directly in the back of the head you can bet it’s a black guy who did it especially if the news makes absolutely no mention of the perpetrators race.
