Conspiracy(ies) to kill John Gotti

In all the studies I've done, I've never been able to find out much if anything about what Gotti thought or did or didn't do about it. Bobby Manna was even prosecuted for this while John was still at the height of his powers. They not only were gonna kill him but also Gene. I think the Luchese wee also involved in this particular one and obviously also succeeded in killing Decicco and LIno. It's just so hard for me to think that Gotti could have been able to stomach this without some type of retribution or at least rant about it on wiretaps. He obviously knew the Genovese were involved, was open info to anyone once the feds indicted Manna. I know they had business dealings during and after this time with the Genovese and Luchese and Dileonardo said that even Jr met with the Genovese many times. I think a good topic for Sammy the Bull's show would be to get into this and Gotti's thoughts on this and any other conspiracy's they knew of at the time.

bobby manna is indicted or arrested in july 1988. i wonder how many interactions or sitdowns he had with john gotti before then. you figure in all 86 87 manna being the consig had to have meetings with someone in the gambino administration. wonder if gotti felt betrayed or he should have expected it since he killed a boss. im surprised he let Chin slide with manna on tape trying to kill him. chin saying manna went rogue is hard to believe

I think I remember Gravano addressing this in one of his videos. He mentions a plan to pull up in front of a club (Probably Palma Boys) with a van after making sure the leadership of the Genovese are there and letting loose (himself) with a machine gun, making sure to take out Chin and Manna. In the end it was decided against. How much is post-podcast sensationalist bullshit is anybody's guess.
Interestingly, in about 30 years since this supposedly took place, this was the only mention anybody has heard of it.

It's total bullshit, but one of the Gotti made for TV movies said that the Vincent Rotondo murder was done by the Gambinos as retaliation. Which made no sense whatsoever. They just needed something to spice up the movie.
