Post by furiofromnaples »

But Ibread time ago that Eugene Castelle son died because was in overdose and nobody helped him,do you if the father tried to do something and how many mobsters survived in Rikers.

Nicky cigars and his crew were held up in rikers for years on their case. From what I heard they all held their own. Actually knew a guy who was on a case involving Marty madano and that crew on state case who actually ran across either Aiello or vito badamo (can’t remeber who he said) but he said they were holding up just fine. He also said he had been in federal joints before and said the little 10-12 days he spent on the island were worse then anything he had faced in the feds.

Italian mobsters don't pay protection in Rikers. According to Gene Borrello and Anthony Hootie Russo, Italians are not considered white in New York jail and prison system and other black or hispanic inmates prefer to be friend of LCN mobsters. The targets in prison are the most vulnerable people, the mobsters especially the New York ones still have much power outside prison. It's always the weakest guys that get the worst treatment in prison. If you're a well respected criminal on the outside, then chances are you'll be respected in jail or prison. New York mobsters are for the most part older street guys, so these for the most part young inmates at Rikers aren't going to mess around with them. There's not one example of LCN mob guys being extorted or beaten up in Rikers Island; especially when you consider how many have done time there.

Jon Pennisi said that he was a heroin addict. Pennisi beat up a hispanic drug dealer who was selling heroine to Castellucci's son.
