I think it is telling that Desjardins is importing hired help from a small-time gang from the maritimes. Mirarchi and his crew have seemingly negotiated a truce with the Rizzutos, and I wonder if Desjardins’ head was the main bargaining chip.

I don’t see these maritimers making much of a difference and I don’t think the Hells Angels will risk ending their current alliance with the Rizzutos and Woolley. If Desjardins stays in Montreal, he won’t live to see 2020 IMO.

If I remember well Boucher was expelled from HA long before he plotted Desjardins' murder.

MOM was voted out in March of 2014, a couple months after Rizzuto’s death. Look how things spiralled out of control since, then settled.

It would be insane if OC businesses and business men risk the peace after such a long time without it.

It appears it was the East Coast Charters that voted out Mom, same places Desjardins is recruiting, also where the Bacchus MC is located. The Bacchus also has a charter in Hamilton, after the HA puppets Red Devils patched over to the Bacchus in 2014. Lots of activity in that city!

I like how all the articles are playing up "MAFIA WAR IMMINENT". I get the headlines draw viewers but I think Desjardins would be foolish to challenge them now. He's been away for 10 years and everything has changed. The Rizzutos are much more stable now with allies and some Halifax crime boss son isn't going to level the playing field imo
