Pogo The Clown wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 7:23 am Just below the picture of the book on the upper left side is a little search bar with the word GO on the right. Anyway here a few times some Decavalcante members are mentioned and some other interesting tidbits.

Sounds like Oliveri was made inside of John Riggi's house. The only ones present were John Riggi, Oliveri and Rigggi's son (presumably Manny who would become Oliveri's Capo).

Luigi over to the house and escorted him into the old man's room. Riggi went through the ceremony right then and there, transforming Luigi Oliveri from an associate to a made member in the DeCav family. Apart from the boss's son,
there had been no witnesses from the family, which meant it was a completely irregular procedure. For all anyone knew, it hadn't even been a traditional ceremony—pricking the candidate's finger, dropping his blood ...
They make anybody, and everybody over there. And the way they do it, is all fucked up. Guys don't get their finger pricked...there's no sword and gun on the table...

Pogo The Clown wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 9:17 am The full passage on Collina. Turns out Stango wasn't lying about his bad health as Collina would die in 2019.

When you get back, go see my goombah, Joey Collina. Joey's a captain like me. He's fallen on some hard times. See if you can help him out. Maybe you could do some stuff for him. Get him a little money. He's held down, he's on a bracele finishing up a sentence. But he's in bad health, so he could use some cash.
I just tried lookin for the passages on the computer still nothing idk maybe it’s just meant for me to wait till June 1st lol

Awesome list! Notice how none of the NY guys ~{think they r NY guys(consalvo, rago, Abramo) are in the book, is there potentially a separate faction? Rago and consalvo were always tight along with abramo

Correct my best guess is that frank gurracci was horse since he was named the acting boss while Riggi was in jail if I’m not mistaken

From the list of known members the following were NY based members. At least they were back in 1999. Things may have changed since then. Some of these guys were probably also active in Jersey.

Philip Abramo/75
Daniel "Danny" Annunziata/81
Rosario “Russell” Cocchiaro/79
Louis "Louie Eggs" Consalvo/63
Frank D'Amato/73
Joseph "Uncle Joe" Giaccobe/97 (Dead?)
Felice “Phil the Undertaker” LaMela/87
Nicholas “Little Nicky” LaMela/85
Anthony "Marshmallow" Mannarino/75
Joseph Miranda/97 (Dead?)
Gregory Rago/62
Joseph "Tin Ear" Sclafani/83
Jerry Constabile (Identified as a proposed member of the Rotondo Crew)

Gaetano “Guy” Alessi/81 may have been another one but I believe he is living in Jersey now.

Oddly enough 'Horse' is not even mentioned in the book.

I can’t imagine those late 80’s to 90 year olds are on the street “what they going to do gum the guy to death😂😂” but then again who really knows? And wasn’t gurracci starting to get sick around that time?

There are made guys well into their eighties and nineties who are active. Genovese soldier Albert Facchiano was indicted at age ninety-six for running a crew in South Florida. If I remember correctly, the average age of a made guy is around sixty-eight. Their strength comes from their ability to direct other people to commit crimes.

Valid point, definitely not doing the dirty work though, more like advisers and directors.
