In addition to the Colombo-Chicago connections, it is interesting to note that when Accardo gave his throne to Giancana, he told his successor that Profaci was one of the bosses that he could count on. Accardo also named Philly, Buffalo, the Genoveses and the Bonannos as Chicago's allies, but later the situation changed since Giancana didnt like Bonanno at all and instead he created close alliances with the Lukes and Gambinos.

That is an excellent find. Ciro Gargano was the younger brother of Mike Gargano, who worked for Mad Sam and was indicted for murder with a police officer named Thomas Durso. Their relatives own a lot of real estate near the northside of Chicago.

Yep and then his daughter married Frankie Caruso. If there’s any action left for the Chinatown crew it’s likely heavily based on these longstanding networks of trust, families that have known each other and intermarried now for generations.
