Is there anything to actually suggest Joey Grande answers to Licata? He stood up for him in the Pungitore beef but as far as I can tell that just sparked assumptions online that he would be put under Licata. It seems more likely to me that he would've been put under Lancellotti (based on when he took Lancellotti with him to meet Scarfo Jr's people). And presumably he would now be under his nephew.

Don’t forget Joey Grande is up there in that crew now too. I also heard Tony Gag’s son is in the Trenton/Mercer County and shore areas operating a small crew, which my guess is reports to Licata. Might report to Lucibello/Bucks County or whoever has South Jersey now but my guess is he reports up north.

You know which area of the Shore Tony Gag’s crew is operating out of? It’s a good 40 minute drive from the Shore to Trenton/Mercer County Area but I do it a lot whenever I’m craving a Mustard Tomato Pie which is something that you can only get in the Trenton Area.

I know it sounds gross but it’s actually absolutely amazing , I always get a 1/2 Spicy Mustard and 1/2 Regular Mustard Tomato Pie- BANGIN’! Damn gonna make that 40 minute ride again soon! Hahaha

This is a good pie. Had it 10yrs ago. And yes ..you do say WTF ? But its good. Papa's is great. But my fav Trenton tomatoe pie is Delorenzo's. Now in Robbinsville as well. I used to wait in line 20yrs ago in Trenton at the original Delorenzos.. Great pie !

I’ve heard they’re gonna give Damian Canalichio that South Jersey Capo spot once he’s off papers. Staino I don’t think is back in the fold at all , he didn’t do his time very well at all and he was an Uncle Joe guy. Makes sense they would have someone replace Tony Gags in the Trenton Area and who better than his son?

You might be right Chin. I don’t know for a fact if Joey Grande is under Licata just what I heard but that was around the time he got out...

Yes, theres big money there and it makes sense Tony Gags Jr is there because it’s a straight shot on 195 from Trenton. I have a friend that lives there and Lawrence Taylor is his neighbor . I’ve gone there to hang out with him and LT at bar there (LT is a cool down to Earth dude who likes hanging out with everyday people). I am about 25 mins further South on the beach there. I love living at the Shore year round, best move I ever made.

Any ideas on other activity specifically in the Trenton/Mercer area? I know there is a made Decav living in Hamilton, not sure how active he is. I know there is gambling/bookmaking in the area but have no idea who is running it or who they are kicking up to. Regarding the pizza conversations, Delorenzo's is still my favorite but we are spoiled for pizza in our area (also papa's, brothers, gennaros, la piazza, iccara). Federicis a little further out in downtown Freehold is great too.

as far as LCN is considered is dead. the Italian area was Chambersburg.. most if not all of the Italians moved out decades ago. Gambino's died out a few decades ago. There was a Decav that lived in Hamilton area...but he died retired to Sicily and died there I believe...I forget his name..?

Not sure if you remember LT's chain of Restaurant / Bars. There was one in the early 90s on rt 71 in Brielle. I believe they all went bust.. LT was partners with Genovese Restaurant guy Vincent Ravo. Ravo went down for RICO and murder conspiracy and I think he died in prison. But Ravo was a big player in the 80s in NJ for the westside.

I just put two and two together, Tony Gags Jr’s son was jammed up in the last big gambling bust here at the Shore.

I didn’t realize that was Tony Gag’s son because he wasn’t from the Trenton Area, Tony Gags Jr being busted here at the shore for gambling and not in the Trenton Area threw me off.

Philly Associate Anthony Gagliardi. He was the alleged driver in the Long John hit and later did time for drugs. He died some years ago. They are talking about his son.

Gags JR is still with Philly and head of small Jersey group (Not south of Mercer). His dad was a Scarfo guy and one of Albert Reds Pontanti’s main guys... they’ve been around Bucks County also
