One of the more off the radar hits in recent times looks like the guy was a Genovese associate. In this indictment on Salvatore Delgatti for that attempted hit he mentions he was killed for being a suspected informant https://casetext.com/case/united-states-v-delligatti

Looks like no one has been charged despite Delgatti being caught on tape. Any info I was missing or anybody from the area know any background ? Interested in this hit as it was more under the radar like the supposed disappearance of that one Chicago Outfit drug dealer Catalano or something in 2009

Castellano was caught up in a 2008 investigation that led to 175 people, including in Italy and Mexico, being arrested. For his part, Castellano was one of a few Genovese-connected brokers in NYC who bought cocaine in the U.S. and then exported it to Italy to be sold at higher prices. From what I've read, he agreed to cooperate after being freed on bail in 2009 and he ended up dead the following year.

Bronx Faction supposedly. Not sure who he reported to ? Capra ? No idea. But he and Paul Mancuso were outed as an informant. Everyone suspected Mancuso was an informant since he never got jail time...Yet he was always involved in bookmaking to payoff his huge debts. I am not sure a westside hitter shot Lagano.? He was a made guy in the Lucheses so you would think the Lucchese family killed him no ? But who knows? It was the Gatto crew his was arrest with ..?
