Lol why was he wearing a suit in prison? Where was he going?

He did a full-on photoshoot in preparation of his trial, which is why the photos are of such high quality and became the media’s go-to pictures for him. Great marketing on his part, better than the standard mugshot or perp walk.

The rest of the Orena faction, aside from certain factions like the Colombo Bros. Crew or “the Long Island guys”, came back into the family amicably. Most of the wayward Long Island guys were brought back into the fold by the turn of the millennium, while the Colombo Bros. Crew continued to be a renegade crew until their 2004 indictment.

Orena and his two made sons were all arrested. They got out of prison around 2000 IIRC, and they weren’t involved in the Life after that (it appears), as both made members collaborated with the “Deal with the Devil” book about Greg Scarpa.

Allie Boy is also not the sharpest knife in the drawer by repeatedly calling Cutolo several times the day before the murder on a phone he knew the Feds were monitoring. That and Jackie DeRoss showing up at Cutolos residence looking for his records right after the hit is what really sunk both of them.

Yeah you’re right, you would think Allie jr would be so well schooled that he would be extremely sharp and know all the tricks. But like you said.. using a phone line that you gave to your parole as your line... along with him getting caught with a shotgun on his boat in Florida is just so idiotic. Also, did Wild Bill never give Allie all the accounting of his rackets he had going on? Just wondering cause you would think if he did that deross wouldn’t have been trying so hard to get a hold of books of Shylock customers, ect... god deross was honestly such a snake piece of shit... comes home to see his good friend (was best man at his wedding) doing well on the street, a monster earner.. and instead of being happy for the guy and maybe trying to get some business ventures set up with him, instead he gets behind Allie to kill him thinking it’s easier to just take what he has... which never even ended up happening.... dumb brokester....
