I just think that Gino was a moron. Its bad enough that he still lived in south philly but still hanging around mob guys is just asking for it imo. South Philly is a tight knit neighborhood, im sure the word went around that Gino was no good.

Anthony Jr was really tight with Dom and they were inseperable out in the streets and Anthony Jr kinda brought Dom into LCN when he was a young buck and started gravitating towards LCN from 10th and 0.

Dom was in Nicodemo's crew when he first started coming up and they were involved in real estate/flipping houses together. Ive heard Anthony Jr's brother Ronnie and Dom were looking out for his interests while he's away so maybe once Dom got locked up it shifted to Ronnie and his Father?

If I had to guess I bet this was just a raid looking for bullshit loansharking/gambling records that they barely were able to get a search warrant for.

That whole indictment in November was the Mazzone wing of the family , all 15 of those guys.

It has to loansharking related. Nicodemo was arrested a couple hours after the murder, with the murder weapon and mask still in the car. He didn’t have time to go to his dad’s house.

Side note, if Ronnie is looking out for his interest he is in trouble. I just don’t see it.
