Elmer "Bones" Remmer was a SF Associate active in Nevada. I believe he was active in Vegas at one time.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Remmer was probably the top syndicate guy in N California and Reno/Tahoe. He was one of the silent partners in the Cal Neva with Sinatra and Giancana. He was a Luciano/Costello associate and pretty much ran gambling in the bay area. He had control of the town of Emeryville, which was probably the most mobbed up town in the country in the 40s and 50s. Remmer had just about all of the elected officials there in his pocket. One of his cardrooms, the Oaks Club, was still open as of the covid shut downs
Glick told author Nicholas Pileggi that he expected to meet a banker-type individual, but instead, he found Alvin Baron to be a gruff, tough-talking cigar-chomping Teamster who greeted him with, “What the fuck do you want?”

Remmer was with the Genovese. He kicked up tribute to the SF and SJ families for operating on their territory, and that was all. He answered to Westside and probably Chicago considering their grip on California rackets.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 12:43 pm Elmer "Bones" Remmer was a SF Associate active in Nevada.
