But is anyone going to talk about the elephant in the room? All the different Balkan Mafia groups are pikers in comparison to the North Macedonian Mafia. They're the group you have to watch out for.Villain wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 12:08 pmThe Prince of BismarckPogo The Clown wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 11:19 am One day the great European War would come out of some damned foolish thing in the Balkans.

The Montenegrins have similarities with the northern Albanians such as vendetta or blood fueds. They are also closely connected in the arms and narcotics trade and besides the Albanians, some old bosses from Montenegro were also connected to some of the Italian organizations and they possibly still are. In your case it might be a simple business relationship, i dunno...JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 1:57 pm I asked bc I'm sponcered by a coney island in the middle of the hood and they call themself albanian.... but as I got to know em, the cousins are straight from Montenegro.

For example heres another old time crime boss from Montenegro who used to be big in Sweden and in fact, he was closely connected to Swedish upper levels of society...Dragan Joksovic...

Re: Montenegro mafia??
There are of course a small (~5%) minority of ethnic Albanians. From what I understand quite a few of them have settled in Chicago and Detroit. If these guys Jeremy is referring to are Montenegrin Albanians, I'd imagine they'd be more likely to be plugged with the Albanian mob clans (as the bulk of Montenegrin Albanians are right along the border) rather than the Montenegrin OC groups as such?

Re: Montenegro mafia??
You are totally right. Montenegrin Albanians are plugged with the Albanian mob clans. Most of the Albanian networks are "old-fashioned". Albanian crime families or clans are usually made up of small groups with blood relations and marriage between them being very important. But they work with other ethnic crime groups. Here in Macedonia, Macedonians operating in the illegal drug trade work with Albanians. In my town https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohrid all Macedonian drug dealers work with Albanians, simply because they have the supplies. There are illegal sex bars. The women mostly from former Communist bloc countries, are bought by bar owners and sold when the customers tire of them. They are moved along by a network of traffickers across borders and ethnic communities, part of a web that spreads across the Balkans and into Western Europe. A large proportion of them, are women who are tricked into the job, forced into prostitution and held against their will. As many as 2,000 to 2,500 of the women may be in Macedonia at any given time, according to one police estimate. But it is impossible to calculate the real number, since only a small percentage are rescued or caught by the police, and the women are often quickly moved.PolackTony wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 6:49 pm There are of course a small (~5%) minority of ethnic Albanians. The 90s a decade of conflict in this region, and the grinding poverty of post-Communist Eastern Europe, have helped breed this network. Across the Balkans, tens of thousands of women have been caught up by the traffickers and have suffered rape, extreme violence and slavery at the hands of criminal groups renowned for their brutality and greed.Macedonian illegal sex bar owners work with Albanians, simply because they have "the supplies" of women. Back in the 90s after the fall of communism there was a boom in crime on the Balkans. These are the old 90s when Macedonia was in the making of becoming a country. You saw this type of crime happen in other Yugoslavian countries too. Back in the 90s and 00s was extremely violent. I grew up in the 90s.
Macedonian crime figures operate mostly in Europe and North America (countries such as Germany, Austria, United States, Canada, Monaco, Italy, France, Spain, Cyprus, Turkey, Greece, Switzerland, England, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Bulgaria are primarily favored by Macedonian crime figures for operating in or for forming partnerships with local organized crime groups, primarily from other Balkan or Eastern European countries There are ethnic Macedonian gangs and criminal organisations operating in our country Macedonia and within the Macedonian diaspora. The Macedonian "mafia" is strong within Macedonia itself, and holds some weight in Europe, but due to lack of numbers, will never match up to other groups. You would be surprised though, some of them are pretty well connected and have stories to tell, including some heavy hitters in the drug business that surprisingly trafficked a lot of coke and heroin, even for international standards, so not all of them were small fish, just not very well known outside of their local towns and cities, and not known at all internationally. Macedonian crime groups co-operate with other Balkan organized crime groups including the Serbian, Bulgarian and Albanian groups, both in the Balkans and in other places around the world. Have you heard of Frankfurt mafia. https://balkaninsight.com/2013/09/20/ma ... rug-lords/ I would say they are low key but when someone walks around with 5 bodybuilder bodyguards it's hard to make that argument. Have you heard of this guy? https://www.reddit.com/r/Mafia/comments ... 9692005/He was the most feared man in Macedonia in early/mid 00s. Even the Albanian crime bosses were afraid of him.
Some Macedonian gangsters_
_ Marjan Tushevski (aka Bokser) (killed July 2001): ruthless extortionist and loan shark. He even extorted Albanians.
-Goran Georgievski (aka Mujo) (1969–2005) (killed April 2005): Former member of the Lions special police force. Georgievski, along with several ethnic Albanian criminals operating in the Republic of Macedonia, was listed on a black list issued by the European Union.
- Nikola Mojsovski (aka Koljo) (killed July 2005): 2001 Macedonia conflict combatant who was involved in racketeering in Prilep. Head boss of the Prilep underground.
- Zoran Manaskov (aka Skrseniot): The alleged leader of the Frankfurt mafia, a huge Macedonian led heroin ring operating in Germany and Austria based out of the city of Veles, Macedonia.

This guy Goran Georgievski (aka Mujo) (1969–2005) was the most feared man in Macedonia in early/mid 00s. Even the Albanian crime bosses were afraid of him. Goran Georgievski Mujo was born in Kumanovo on December 2, '69. He was killed on April 4, 2005 in the same city where he was born. He was buried there. In 2001 Macedonia conflict he became the commander of the special police unit for quick interventions "Lions". He got the nickname as a boy from his grandfather, a first fighter from the Kumanovo partisan detachment, because he was a small and weak child. He was constantly running, tripping and falling, and his grandfather would call him "Mujče". That's what other children heard and they began to call him Mujo. He had this nickname for his whole life and in the end it said it on the cross. When he was still young, Mujo was already an accomplished street fighter. He became a head boss of the ethnic Macedonian Kumanovo underworld . His crime group was involved in illegal gambling, loansharking, extortion, smuggling, assault, prostitution, narcotics and murder. He was charismatic born leader. Albanians feared him yet a Macedonian killed him.PolackTony wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 6:49 pm There are of course a small (~5%) minority of ethnic Albanians. On April 4 he was killed in front of the night club "linka" in Kumanovo. He was shot in the head by the owner of the club Goran Stojanovski aka Linka. At the same time he killed Mujo's friend Nenad Veljkovski aka Cavka and injured 3 more of their friends. Linka saw Mujo beating his son in front of his own club. Mujo hated Linka family, because he attempted to extort them, but they were resilient and didn't pay him. Goran Stojanovski Linka came from behind and shot Mujo 4-5 times, then he continued to shoot his friends and ended up above Mujo's body and shot him 2-3 more times to finish him according to the "Belgrade recipe" as the newspaper wrote.Thousands of people came to Mujo's funeral, he had a lot of friends in Macedonia and Serbia and Bulgaria. He was buried according to orthodox customs. He was a great believer and always helped churches and monasteries.Goran Stojanovski Linka was first on the run, but eventually he surrendered to the police. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Because of good behavior, he came out after 6 years. A few months later he was killed in front of his building. He was shot with 6 shots in the head by an unknown assailant . That was revenge for the death of Goran Georgievski Mujo.

Re: Montenegro mafia??
Yup, theres Albanian population all around the Balkans but the most interesting thing is that whenever they get caught about something illegal, they often label themselves as Montenegrins, Serbs or Macedonian, meaning they try to hide their real ethnicity lolPolackTony wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 6:49 pm There are of course a small (~5%) minority of ethnic Albanians. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-1 ... a-14735371 The Frankfurt mafia is a criminal group mostly from the little town of Veles, Macedonia that is involved in activities in Germany and Austria regarding heroin trade. Boris Rhein, Hessen former interior minister stated that Frankfurt mafia held about 90% of the trade for years. According to police, the Frankfurt Mafia was able to penetrate the market so quickly by selling high-quality heroin at what was described as a reasonable price. Their profit in Vienna alone was estimated at 80,000 euros ($105,000) a day.
The Frankfurt mafia controlled 19 out of 24 blocks in Vienna's drug trade using intelligence methods.
The traffickers had taken control of the heroin trade in Vienna in a short period of time. We noticed that this organisation was so good that it was able to replace large quantities of high-quality heroin within days, Austrian security official Franz Lang told reporters. Here are some articles about their activities and massive arrests. https://balkaninsight.com/2013/09/20/ma ... e-12069014

Re: Montenegro mafia??
Romeo Zivic killed this Albanian guy Necko in the center of Kumanovo in 1989. He stabbed him 44 times. That guy Necko was the toughest guy in Kumanovo in the 80s. He was beating up people almost on a daily basis. They had their disputes with Romeo. Supposedly this guy Necko was physically stronger than Romeo , so he brutally stabbed him in a broad daylight in the center of Kumanovo. Romeo got killed in the early spring of 2004 in the center of Skopje in front of Blue Caffe. He got shot by Jane Pavlovski Tica. It was a shootout. The two were shooting at eachother. Jane Tica lost two fingers in the shootout. Romeo Zivic was from Matejce. He was half Serbian/half Macedonian. He was a hardcore gangster.Villain wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 12:32 amGreat posts bro.
