I thought an RRM is kind of like a half way house. More over arent those places for you to stay for a few months not years?

Because that's when his sentence is actually up but most people get out before that with parole.

2.5 half years at a halfway house instead of jail is pretty sweet. you can go to work. go on windows to your family or stores . im not sure but you might even get a weekend furlough if they allow it.usually surposed to be if you have less then 18 or 12 months on your sentence experation

It definitely is better but some of the half’s in jersey are worse than the prison spots. You give criminals freedom and they often push the limits. Drugs, beatings, etc.... you see a lot of guys get sent back from the half but as you said... it’s much better than being in the clink.
